Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! So we had a wonderful Christmas morning and our kids were pretty satisfied with their presents, as you can see, they are all smiles on Christmas morning. I am just glad that it is over, and that everything went well. I am not a scrooge, but the stress of the holidays can get a bit overwhelming. For now, although, I will look back on this Christmas with fondest memories until next year.

- I met Scott through his sister Julie, because we were friends. I always thought he was cute, but he never gave me a second look because I was his sisters friend. A few years later we ran into each other, and he asked me out. I guess since I was out of high school it was legal. Anyway, he left on a mission, I went to school, and life went on. When he got home we started dating again and were engaged soon after. Scott and I were married On September fourth, 1998. We just celebrated our 14th anniversary this past september. We have four kids, Mailey (12), Jackson (10), Cole (7), and Kieryn (3).
Mailey
Mailey just turned twelve the first of October. She does really good in school and her teachers are always telling us what a good girl she is. Mailey has such determination to do the right thing, she is a wonderful example to her siblings and friends. She tells me now that she is in the double digits in age and soon she'll be a teenager. Um, great. She is a good helper at home too. I don't know what I would do without her to help me with her little sister.
Jackson
Jackson is ten years old. He is getting so big, turning ten just this July. Jackson loves computer games, I can barley get him to do anything else. He is a big help with his little sister and around the house. He is pretty laid back kid, except when it comes to his little brother, they love to keep us on our toes. He is a great kid.
Cole
Cole turned seven years old in February. He is so energetic and wants to be going 24 hours a day. He loves to play with his friends, riding bikes playing computer games, and going fishing with his dad. He is a smart boy, is teacher and substitutes all tell us so. he can be a bit of a trouble maker too. He is great at doing so many things and so much fun.
Kieryn
Kieryn is three years old and tells me she is getting bigger and bigger every day. Kieryn is very smart and has a very big vocabulary. She loves to play with her friends in the neighborhood, and her brothers and sister. She has been potty trained for over a year now and dresses herself sometimes. She is a girly-girl throught and through. She loves dresses, nail polish, and pretty hair bows. She is a handful but we wouldn't want it any other way.

Neat slideshow! I love the football stuff your boys got. Mailey is getting so big and beautiful. Tell everyone I say hello. I am following your blog now through my dashboard so I get to see what you guys are up to now instead of wondering. :)
